"Science cannot solve the ultimate mystery of nature. And that is because, in the last analysis, we ourselves are a part of the mystery that we are trying to solve." - Max Planck.

Hence I am no more exception to this Planck's Rule...but let me try something ....

My Name is Abhay Kumar Tiwari. Currently a PhD student at Department of Computational and Data Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India.

My Area of research is Computational Photonics. I am working to make better computational and theoretical models to understand light matter interaction along with the substrates. It involve physics, maths and numerics. Its very difficult to answer how my research is going to be immediately helpful for the society. Its not going to generate any bang in the cosmos but surely pain of debugging codes in order to understand it a bit will create at least one more compassionate human being to the planet earth.

I am a quite simple guy with an interest in Science especially Physics and Computational Science . ..bit confused about career whether it is driven by my emotions or by my passion..  Love to discuss science and anything which is positive. I am a big fan of Feynman, Ramanujan, Swami Vivekanand and Mahatma Gandhi....My many friends and my wife occasionally call me boring. But I am not ...I am quite romantic but in a different frame of reference :)
